7:45 Early pick up at 489 Manning, no time for breakfast or dishes. Quick visit to Makin’s to drop off painting. Squish into limousine.
Wait at airport surprisingly emotional.

Commuter plane to NYC.

Carol gets hit on.

NYC switch to Miami to Buenos Aires. Flight to Ushuaia most spectacular. So lush compared to the arid land we flew over in central Argentina.

Wait and hope for all bags to come through, then taken directly to ship. The crew has been at sea for a month.

Back to ship. Guy from Russian crew wanted attention, but escaped unscathed. Happy to have a bed to sleep in.

Ushuaia

Provision shopping for last minutes. Walking up and down streets of mountainside town. Pretty, feels like a ski town. Flowers & bushes blooming. Food arrives to ship three pages short of my original dry goods order. Arrange to meet with our supplier tomorrow before we set sail to see if he can send the missing items with our perishables on the Multanovskiy.

Head to a supermarket to check translation of items. Dinner later with Dave German & his Argentinean girlfriend. Black Sea Bass En Papillote. Good white wine and company as we struggle through my provisioning list. Return to ship to find it on other side of the pier. Sleep.
